The General Management Programme for Aerospace and Aviation executives (GMAE) is a part-time certificate programme for working professionals from the Aerospace and Aviation sector. The programme is being offered by IIMB in partnership with TBS Education, France.
The participants who successfully complete the GMAE programme are eligible to pursue the Global Executive Master of Business Administration – Aerospace Management (GEMBA) being offered by TBS. The GMAE certificate holders can choose to pursue the GEMBA either immediately after completing the certificate programme or within 3-years of completing the Programme.
The Global Executive Master of Business Administration – Aerospace Management comprises of two stages:
Stage 1 – GMAE certificate programme of one year duration delivered at IIM Bangalore.
Stage 2: GEMBA a one year programme that is delivered at two locations – Bangalore and Toulouse.
Successful participants will receive a certificate from IIMB and TBS Education for the General Management Programme for Aerospace and Aviation Executives at the end of the first stage and an Global Executive Master of Business Administration – Aerospace Management from TBS Education after the completion of the second stage.

Dr. S Raghunath has been Professor of Strategy at IIM Bangalore and the Chairperson of the Centre For Corporate Governance at IIM Bangalore. His work has focused on themes in corporate governance, such as differing roles of company boards, strategic decisions and execution oversight, contribution of independent directors and the implications of cyber security and risk management for board members.
He is a certified trainer in corporate governance by the Global Corporate Governance Forum, sponsored under the aegis of the World Bank and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and administered by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Washington. He has been offering the Company Directors Programme on Board Best Practices at IIM Bangalore for the past fifteen years.

Professor G Shainesh has over two decades of research and teaching experience in India and abroad. He has conducted collaborative research and teaching assignments at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), HEC Paris, Audencia Nantes and IESEG (France), Vienna University and MCI Innsbruck (Austria), Bocconi University (Milan), Curtin University of Technology (Perth) and the American University of Armenia (Yerevan). His research and teaching focus on Digital Marketing Strategies, CRM, Services Marketing and Service Innovations.
At IIMB, Shainesh has served as Chair – EEP (2020-23), Dean – Administration (2014-17), Chair – EPGP (2013-14) and Chair – Student Exchange Program (2006-09). Programme Fees
GEMBA programme fees is 16700 € + 18% GST per participant payable in instalments.
Apart from the programme fees, the cost of travel, boarding and lodging is to be borne by the participant.
