General Management Programme for Executives is a certificate programme designed for functional managers aspiring to move into a general management role to develop core business skills and competencies, which would equip them to handle issues involving cross-functional areas.
Programme Framework & Contents
Moving from delivering a functional strategy to responsibility for business strategy requires a broad perspective and additional knowledge. The EGMP prepares participants for this challenging transition by focusing on Business Environment, Individual and Organizational Competencies, Functional Knowledge and Strategic Perspective.
1.Business Environment
An understanding of the fast-changing environment and its impact on business is crucial for success. Topics include Economics for Managers, General Commercial Knowledge, Data driven decision making & AI for Managers.
2. Functional Knowledge
An appreciation of key concepts and activities within the primary management functional areas and interconnections among them is essential for aligning the functional areas with the business strategy. Topics include Organizational Structures & Processes, Organizational Behavior & HR, Entrepreneurial mindset and Corporate Finance.
3. Strategic Perspective
This module integrates the functional Knowledge gained earlier and allows the managers to take decisions and develop strategies that are appropriate for different environments. Topics include Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Operations Management and Marketing in Digital era.
4. Individual and Organizational Competencies
Continuous enhancement of individual and organizational competencies, business performance is crucial. Topics include Business & Corporate Strategy, Business Simulation Game, Ethics & Governance and Managing Digital Transformation
Programme Objectives
The programme fee is INR 5,75,000 + GST (applicable rates) per participant, payable in three instalments as per the following schedule:
1. Rs.1,00,000/- +Applicable GST Confirmation fee upon offer confirmation
2. Rs. 1,30,000/- +Applicable GST – I instalment on admission
3. Rs. 1,72,500/- +Applicable GST – II instalment, Date: 25 Feb 2026
4. Rs. 1,72,500/- +Applicable GST – III instalment, Date: 25 Apr 2026
