Programme Overview
“Innovation” is in the air! Call it innovation at jet speed or disruptive innovation, technology has transformed the world from what it was decades ago. From wheel to automobile and from calculator to smart phone, Innovators have explored every notion, idea, possibility, technology and their imagination. It is these new thoughts that potentially change everything. However what are the challenges of implementing these innovations? How should organizations evaluate these technological innovations?  Is it enough to interject in a small manner, or does it require a complete effort along the value chain to make the innovation sustainable? How should organizations actually manage these technological innovations? How does the organization ensure that technological innovations that happen in a particular unit is also captured by other units of the organization? And then, having decided to implement a technological innovation, what are the challenges in successful product development?  We will dwelve into such topics over the course of the program.

Testimonials

  • Prof. Anshuman’s curriculum was carefully crafted to provoke us to think. The diversity of case studies selected, and the quality of questions discussed made it more like a workshop. It helped put a lot of things into perspective and to approach innovation as a means to gain strategic advantage. Creating an innovation pipeline with a mix of breakthrough, platform and derivative projects (business models & technology) and a self-sustaining organisation design were the key take away for me. Would recommend this for business owners and teams architecting their organisation’s strategy.

  • The program is intensively focused on case studies that pushes one to think through the various development models, org design, Business strategies etc. Each case study is presented in a way that one can co-relate with their current organization’s challenges. The 4 days are full with a lot of material, group discussions and presentations covering the Innovation cycles in Large, Mid and start-up organizations. The participants come from various domains giving you an opportunity to understand different industries and their unique challenges. Prof. Anshuman has great ability to involve each one in the group, extract problem statements and fit the same into already discussed cases. The campus is great with resort like facilities that definitely has a positive impact on how much you can concentrate on studies.
