IIM-B’s Executive Education Department is elated to conduct the valedictory event for the 17th Batch of GMITE participants on the 18th of December 2023. The event was attended by the participants along with their family members at IIM-B’s MDC-Woods venue.
The General Management Programme for IT Executives (GMITE) programme is a long-term part-time course that was designed specifically for software & IT professionals, who are looking to transition from a technical/functional role to a general management role.
The programme directors Prof. S. Raghunath and Prof. Chetan Subramanian initiated the memorable event by warmly welcoming our distinguished Chief guest Mr. Lingraju Sawkar, the President of Kyndryl.
Mr. Sawkar gave an inspiring speech to the graduating participants who are about to become the enlightened leaders required for today’s IT firms which are all facing monumental shifts due to our economy’s disruptive transformation.
The participants were congratulated by the chief guest and the faculty members for their perseverance to give their 100% and excel in this programme amidst their professional & family commitments.
Post the distribution of certificates, the participants lightened the atmosphere by taking part in fun quizzes, sharing memorable moments of the programme, and even participating in impromptu musical performances before having a hearty dinner with their families.
