Prof. G Shainesh
Professor of Marketing – IIM Bangalore
Prof. G Shainesh is a globally respected expert in Digital Marketing Strategies, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Service Innovation, with over three decades of experience in academia and industry. He has taught and conducted research at leading international institutions such as the University of St. Gallen, HEC Paris, Bocconi University, and the University of Gothenburg.
At IIM Bangalore, he has held several senior roles including Dean – Administration and Chair – Executive Post Graduate Programme. Prof. Shainesh has advised major organizations across sectors— ranging from Indian Oil and Tata Motors to Sanofi and the Ministry of Tourism—and is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Indian Business Research. His publications, award winning case studies, and books on CRM and social media marketing have earned him widespread recognition, including the CMO Asia “Best Professor in Marketing” Award.

G. Ajay Row is an entrepreneur and executive with nearly 40 years in data-driven marketing, loyalty, analytics and CRM across a number of industries. He launched one of the first loyalty and data-driven marketing programs globally in the ‘80s for ITC. Since implemented programs across 65+ countries. He has built several companies, won numerous awards, and delivered a number of globally recognized case studies in loyalty and CRM. He graduated in Economics and Statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Bombay and Marketing and Systems from IIM Calcutta.
