My 30 years in the manufacturing industry have given me a solid foundation, but I knew I needed to broaden my perspective to achieve my goal of becoming an independent director. With 3 decades of entrepreneurial experience in the manufacturing business in MSME segment, and already an Alumni of IIMB, what made me get back to IIMB for the course AeMBA was my inquisitiveness of the depth of Aerospace Industry and my constant urge to Unlearn and Relearn. But for me even as a non-Aerospace professional, the 2 years program exceeded my expectation, though quite demanding but an exciting journey. I had a long career of 25 years in Aerospace and Avionics industry (as a Scientist in National Aerospace laboratories and played various leadership roles in Honeywell) and was on the path of starting up my own organization to support the industry eco-system development.   I was on the lookout for a right course to enhancing my executive leadership and to enhance my business acumen.  Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Toulouse Business School, Toulouse jointly offering the executive Aerospace MBA course is an icing on the cake for me.  It was a great experience to interact with industry experts, fellow batchmates from Aerospace industry (diverse batchmates – from OEM, Tier1/Tier2 suppliers, Pilots, Airline operators, Airport managers, entrepreneurs etc).  The course had a right mix of case studies from Aerospace industry, simulation exercises, video sessions, interactive learning and group discussions.  Add to this, had a great library infrastructure and access to online resources.  Overall, awesome learning and skill enhancement.
