Programme Overview

Being a Sportsperson and excelling at it in a professional environment has significant similarities with being successful as a Leader in an Organization. The similarities go far beyond the more obvious teamwork and discipline.
This Programme identifies and imparts rich learnings from crucible sporting moments and the lives of elite athletes. Such lives are usually marked by sacrifices, peaks of success and depths of failure, balancing mental health and physical endurance, and tested resilience.
This Programme is a mix of experiential and theoretical learning techniques, and sources knowledge from both empirical data and lived experiences.

Programme Objective

The attributes of leadership have been the subject of years of studies and debate/discussion. The aims of the Programme are three-fold:

• Deep Understanding of the successful Leadership Behaviors imparted through case studies (evidence/research based findings), discussions, group and individual learning and knowledge- sharing opportunities, role playing.
• Heightened level of self-awareness on need for Behavioral Change that is ensured by the effective use of the metaphor of Sports. It is a language that embeds learnings and moves participants into action.
• Using the fast pace decisive nature of decisions in sports as baseline to deepen understanding how replicating those decision in the moments that matter results in differentiated business outcomes.
