Programme Directors

Prof. AshokProf. Ashok Thampy is a Professor in Finance at IIMB.  His areas of interest are Corporate Finance, Financial Risk Management, Industrial Economics, Banking, and Regulation. He teaches corporate finance and banking in the MBA and executive education programmes at IIMB. Prior to joining IIMB, he was at the Department of Finance, Bilkent University, Turkey. He has also held visiting positions at the Department of Economics at Santa Clara University, USA, and the School of Business, Economics and Law, at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Mr. Pratap Giri S, B.Com, FCA, FCS, MIOD is an independent corporate advisor and Adjunct Faculty at IIM Bangalore and other IIM campuses. He is also presently associated with ICAI, National Institute of Securities Markets, SPJIMR and Great Lakes Institute of Management. He has had extensive hands-on experience in Project and Infrastructure Finance, Private Equity, Capital Markets Financing, Restructuring, M&A, Strategic Finance and mentoring Family Managed Businesses. He has also been a corporate trainer for several leading banks and financial institutions such as BOI, UBI, PNB, Canara Bank, IL&FS, NABARD, LIC and GIC. He has written three books in the corporate finance area. He is also a speaker at various seminars and training programmes and is on the expert panel of ICAI and others.

  • All enrolments are subject to review and approval by the programme director. Joining Instructions will be sent to the selected candidates 10 days prior the start of the programme.
  • The programme fee should be received by the Executive Education Office before the programme commencement date.
  • In case of cancellations, the fee will be refunded only if a request is received at least 15 days prior to the start of the programme.
  • If a nomination is not accepted,the fee will be refunded to the person/ organisation concerned.
