Tanmatra – Women in Leadership Programme is a transformational leadership journey designed to empower women professionals to step confidently into leadership roles, amplify their influence, and drive meaningful impact within their organizations and communities.
The programme blends self-discovery, strategic capability building, and real-world leadership application to support women at mid to senior levels in navigating complex workplace dynamics, overcoming systemic barriers, and accelerating career growth.
Programme Overview
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore’s Tanmatra – 10th Edition is a six-month, integrated leadership journey designed for accomplished women leaders at a critical inflection point in their careers. As leadership responsibility expands from functional excellence to enterprise-level influence, the programme creates a structured space to examine how behaviors, judgement, and strategic impact must evolve. Tanmatra serves as a bridge between past success and future scale, equipping women leaders to strengthen their authority, broaden their perspective, and lead with clarity and confidence at senior levels.
Programme Objectives
Tanmatra enables experienced women leaders to translate established professional success into sustained enterprise-level impact. The programme supports participants in evolving their leadership identity, strengthening cross-functional influence, and preparing for senior management and board-level responsibilities. Through strategic learning, reflective dialogue, and applied organisational projects, it builds the maturity, presence, and system-level thinking required to lead across complexity while fostering a strong network of peer leaders committed to advancing inclusive leadership.
Tanmatra is led by faculty whose research and practice focus on leadership evolution, organisational systems, and enterprise level strategy. Their guidance shapes your journey across reflection, integration, and strategic influence.

Within Tanmatra, Professor Srinivasan anchors the programme’s focus on leadership behavior, executive presence, and the evolution of leadership at critical career transitions.
