The selection is made by the Director General of Resettlement (DGR) India based on the applications received directly by them.
The Business Management Programme is a hybrid 24-week certificate programme for the the Defence Officers of Indian Defence Forces, who have been selected by Director General of Resettlement, Ministry of Defence from among the three services- Army, Navy and Air Force. The programme is especially curated for the officers completing their terms of engagement with Defence Forces . It has been designed to impart the participants with skills and knowledge needed to make a smooth transition to the Corporate Career by deep understanding of business processes and reorient general management competencies.
The programme is based on the highly successful EGMP which is in its 68th edition and IIMBx’ Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). IIMBx has been ranked 3rd in MOOC performance among B-Schools globally. The programme includes face-to-face lectures from IIMB professors on campus as well as self-paced learning through MOOCs from IIMBx (IIMB’s digital learning arm).
The participants involve themselves actively in case studies, projects and discussions, role-play, games, etc. They benefit immensely through continuous learning, Leader Speak series/ lectures/ interactions from senior leadership in the Corporate sector/ renowned companies and networking with peers, during and after the programme.
