According to the recently released National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, IIMB ranked #2. IIMB has been ranked amongst the top 2 management schools in India since 2016 when NIRF was initiated. NIRF was created by The Ministry of Education and ranks Educational Institutions according to 13 parameters sorted under Teaching and Learning Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and Inclusivity and Perception.
In a more detailed report, IIMB ranked high for its topnotch resources in terms of learning and teaching facilities as well as a world class faculty. The report also stated that IIMB scored the highest among all B-schools in the parameter “Perception” which assess the extent to which graduates from the school are preferred for hiring by top academics and high-level professionals. Additionally, the report also noted that the management school not only had a high output of graduates but that the makeup of graduates was diverse and inclusive of women, students from out of state, socially and economically challenged students, minor communities and the differently abled in terms of campus structure as well as tolerant faculty and employees.
IIMB has also ranked in the top #2 consecutively in the last five years for outstanding quality of its numerous publications, impact of projects conducted by the school in terms of professional development.
